Last week I had the opportunity to go to London and Scotland with two of my coworkers. It was a great experience! I figured it was my first and last trip somewhere special in a while.
Visited the London tower, Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Canterbury, Greenwich, the Royal Mile, Jack the Ripper tour, and much more. Here are some pics from the trip.
The only downfall was the flight...16 hours. I couldn't believe it, but my feet swelled up like a stuffed sausage! The airline lost our luggage on the way over, so I was stuck with one pair of shoes for a couple of days. Because of the swelling my shoes didn't fit and both my feet ended up with huge blisters! It wasn't very fun, and pretty painful, but didn't stop me from experiencing Europe!
